Position: Building Surveyor (Repairs) (RP0038)
Starting salary: £41,992pa with potential progression to £45,089pa inclusive on achieving designated skills and experience
Hours: 37 hours per week (Hybrid Working)
Responsibilities
- Manage your own patch, consisting of around 2000 properties.
- Work collaboratively with contractors and the Neighbourhoods team to ensure your patch receives the best possible service and that repairs are carried out in a timely manner to a high standard.
- Attend site to scope out works on larger repair jobs and keep tenants updated on ongoing works.
Qualifications
- Formally qualified in Building Studies.
- Highly experienced in diagnosing building faults and providing cost-effective solutions.
- Ability to identify repairs, draw up specifications, make technical decisions and solve complex problems.
- Knowledge of building standards and a passion for delivering customer-focused outcomes.
- Excellent communication in spoken English; the ability to converse with members of the public and provide advice is essential.
