Overview

Are you passionate about building safety and ready to take on a pivotal role at the forefront of regulatory compliance? This is a unique opportunity for a skilled consultant to make a real difference across residential and commercial projects - particularly high-rise, high-risk, and complex structures. You will help clients navigate the challenges of fire safety, structural integrity, and the latest legislative changes including the Building Safety Act 2022.

Responsibilities
  • Work with design and construction teams from RIBA stages through to gateway approvals, shaping projects with safety in mind from day one.
  • Review fire strategies, produce safety case reports, and liaise with regulators and inspectors.
  • Provide technical advice to ensure compliance and build confidence with clients.
Qualifications
  • Experience in building safety or construction consultancy, ideally with a relevant degree and membership of a recognised professional body (e.g. CMIOSH, MIFireE, MCIOB, MRICS).
  • Confidence leading conversations with regulators, proactive on-site, and able to guide others through complex regulatory landscapes.
  • Experience in external wall remediation and navigating government safety schemes is highly desirable.
