Job description
Overview

Our client based in Waddesdon are seeking to recruit a Fermenter to join their team on a permanent basis in their unique business. You'll work hands‑on with tanks, filters, and all the moving parts that turn raw ingredients into extraordinary drinks enjoyed in Michelin‑star restaurants, national retailers, and across our partner brands. This role blends science and craft, with occasional involvement in packaging and warehouse tasks to keep the entire operation running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out daily fermentations and filtrations according to the production schedule
  • Develop expertise in our unique fermentation and filtration processes
  • Follow the Client's fermentation SOPs accurately and diligently
  • Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, health, and safety
  • Identify risks within propagation and fermentation and help mitigate them
  • Collaborate with the wider operations team to meet production targets
  • Perform laboratory work to professional laboratory standards
Packaging Support
  • Provide occasional shift support on bottling and canning lines
  • Potential to grow into supervising the bottling line as required
Warehouse Support
  • Support warehouse operations when needed (e.g., box builds, stock checks)
General Duties
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records
  • Monitor, maintain, and clean equipment to required standards, including CIP processes
  • Meet and uphold quality targets
  • Work to SALSA and BRC standards
  • Assist with stock management
  • Work shifts as required by the production plan
Requirements
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • IBD GCB or similar relevant qualification or 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with brewing management software (e.g., Breww) desirable
  • Good level of physical fitness
  • Forklift truck certification desirable
