Job summary

A leading event company in Ringwood is seeking a Box Office Supervisor for the upcoming Halloween Light Trail Festival. You will oversee ticketing operations, ensure smooth customer service, and tackle technical issues. Previous experience in ticketing and management is essential. The role requires evening and weekend availability and offers training. This position is contractor-based.

Qualifications

  • Box Office experience.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point for ticketing between venue and staff.
  • Ensure office terminals and pinpads are functioning properly.
  • Conduct pre-event checks to confirm system functionality.
  • Respond to and resolve customer and operational issues.
  • Complete nightly reconciliation reports.
  • Maintain inventory of technology and manage issues.
  • Provide first-line support for technical problems.
  • Set up and test handheld scanners.

Overview

Ticketek Entertainment Group is a global fan experience company that tickets, promotes and delivers live experiences. Our group includes the Ticketek platform, touring, sport and family experiences, venues, and our digital business Ovation.

About the ROLE

We’re looking for a Box Office supervisor for the upcoming Halloween Light Trail Festival at Moors Valley, Ringwood on a contractor basis. You will therefore need to be a limited company or self-employed. The box office will be open for Halloween (23 October – 02 November).

Responsibilities
  • Team Liaison & Support; acting as the first point for ticketing between venue, ticketing and operations staff
  • Box Office; ensuring the office terminals and pinpads are set up and tested and support the Box Office staff
  • Pre-Event Checks; conducting pre-event walk throughs to confirm systems and access points are functioning correctly
  • Issue Resolutions; responding to and resolving customer and operational issues, including overseeing ticket refunds and escalations as required
  • End-Of-Night Reporting; completing and submitting nightly reconciliation reports
  • Hardware Management; maintaining inventory of technology including scanners and printers and communicating any issues
  • Technical Troubleshooting; providing first-line support for technical issues
  • Scanner Setup & Testing; setting up, testing and maintaining handheld scanners to ensure smooth event day ingress operations
About You
  • Previous ticketing and event experience in a supervisor / managerial role
  • Box Office experience
  • Good customer service experience
Other considerations

Due to the nature of this role, it will involve evening and weekend work.

Training will be provided.
