Job description

Overview

AECOM seeks to hire a Structural Revit Designer for our Chelmsford, MA office. This position supports structural and other disciplines with the model and drawing production for a variety of new and retrofit facilities to support the water business line, such as Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants.

Responsibilities

• Create initial Revit model project setup with workflow documents.
• Support the development of the Revit model for each project/discipline.
• Work as part of a BIM/Revit support team to achieve consistent results.
• Support the daily Revit model management, administration and maintenance.
• Support the Structural Engineer with the drawing development and layout.
• Help develop BIM Content: Families such as parametric, formula nested and type catalogs.
• Work with vendors on content download and update to Company Standards.
• Support linked views and others in multiple models situations.
• Ability to meet quality, schedule and budget expectations.
• Integrate REVIT products with other applications (Autodesk, Construction, Cost Estimation).
• Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and schedules.
• Coordinate with other in-house engineering disciplines as needed.
• Must be a highly motivated self-starter.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Experience in Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM360, Navisworks, etc.
• Experience in AutoCAD.
• Ability to work with a diverse team located in the Chelmsford Design Center.
• Due to the nature of this role U.S. Citizenship is required.
