We are searching for an experienced Bids Operations Manager.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bid Operations Manager to join our Bid Team to ensure appropriate resourcing and project management of bid-related activities.

As Bid Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and continuously improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the firm’s bid and proposal functions. You will work closely with partners, key stakeholders, and marketing colleagues to ensure bids and bid-related projects are properly resourced and delivered on time with the highest quality standards.

You will make an impact by:

  1. Triaging and appropriately allocating resources for new opportunities, including coordinating input from multiple teams across RSM service lines, industries, marketing, and core functions.
  2. Identifying key stakeholder input required to review, qualify, and contribute to bid activities.
  3. Leading project management and coordination of high-value, strategic bids and proposals across multiple service lines, managing resources, developing strategies, and ensuring high-quality submissions.
  4. Leading key bid team projects that improve operational efficiency, such as digital pitching and bid automation.
  5. Managing bid pipelines, tracking performance metrics, and providing regular reports to senior stakeholders.
  6. Identifying areas for improvement in bid processes and tools.
  7. Providing coaching and support to fee earners and junior team members on bid strategy and approach.
  8. Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance win rates and operational efficiency.

  4. Ability to adapt approach based on individual bid requirements and generate innovative, tailored solutions.
  5. Proficiency in bid management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for quality and innovation.
  7. APMP certification or equivalent (desirable).
  8. PRINCE2 or similar project management certification (desirable).
