Job description

As Bid Writer, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality, compelling submissions for a range of M&E and building services tenders. Working closely with the Bid Manager, estimating, commercial and project delivery teams, you'll help communicate the company's technical capability, values and differentiators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write, edit and coordinate bid responses, PQQs and tender submissions
  • Develop clear, persuasive content aligned with client requirements and scoring criteria
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather technical, commercial and operational input
  • Ensure all submissions are compliant, well-structured, and submitted on time
  • Maintain and improve bid libraries, templates, and case studies
  • Support continuous improvement of bid quality and win strategies
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Bid Writer or in a similar proposals role (construction, M&E or engineering preferred)
  • Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative, proactive and well‑organised
  • Confident working with technical teams to translate complex information into clear messaging
