The Establishment Planning team sits within Operational Planning, part of the wider Operations Strategy & Planning function. The BI Analyst - Establishment Planning will report to the Establishment Planning Development Manager. This team plays a key role in setting crew resourcing levels and works closely with a broad range of stakeholders, including Pilot and Cabin Crew Management, Crew Training, Recruitment, Industrial Relations and Finance. It also manages one of the largest budgets in the organisation.
You’ll use your analytical skills to turn complex data into clear insights that make crew planning smarter and more efficient. You’ll track performance, model different scenarios, and help shape the long-term plan, giving the business a five-year view of crew needs. You’ll optimise planning tools, spot trends, and communicate findings in a way that helps teams make confident, data-driven decisions. With ownership of multiple projects and the ability to influence stakeholders across the business, you’ll play a key role in making sure our operations run smoothly today and are ready for the future.
You’ll bring strong analytical skills and a passion for digging into data to uncover insights that drive smarter decisions. You’ll be confident working with SQL, Python, and BI tools like Tableau or PowerBI, turning complex datasets into clear, actionable information. With experience in modelling, statistics, and project delivery, you’ll help the team improve operational performance and shape future systems. You’re meticulous, adaptable, and motivated, thriving in a fast-paced environment, and able to communicate findings clearly and confidently to stakeholders at all levels.
This full-time role will be based in Luton. Hybrid working with 3 days in the office with some travel required
