Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Barking and Dagenham
Salary: £85 to £110 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Long-term

Are you passionate about supporting students with complex needs and behaviour challenges? GSL Education is currently seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work in a specialist school in Barking and Dagenham that caters for pupils with visual and sensory impairments. Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour support for students with SEN/SEMH needs.

Help students develop coping mechanisms and self-regulation strategies.

Collaborate with teachers and support staff to deliver tailored interventions.

Foster a calm, inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience working in an SEN or SEMH setting is highly preferable.

Proactive, patient, and resilient attitude.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
