Overview

We are recruiting a driven Barista on a part-time basis (contracted to 10 hours per week) to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for a major High Street brand. You will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers, with opportunities to progress within a company that invests in its people and rewards those who go beyond the plate. You should be a brilliant communicator who can easily build relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
  • Keeping the bar area clean
  • Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
  • Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
  • Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
  • Representing Costa and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
  • Complying with Health & Safety regulations
Qualifications
  • Have previous experience in customer service
  • Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
