Overview

AramarkUK are currently recruiting a Barista to join our team working at GOGGS, SW1A 2HQ.

We are looking for a keen coffee enthusiast to make specialty hot drinks, alongside providing excellent customer service on the tills. You will be working with a fantastic team and supporting the day-to-day running of the unit.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements:you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

  • This is a full-time position, 32 hours per week, (Monday to Friday). Shifts range between 7:30am & 5pm, leaving your evenings free - a rarity when you work in hospitality.
  • The hourly rate is £13.85.

A day in the life of a Barista
  • Making hot and cold drinks to spec - a fantastic way to show off your latte art skills or learn new ones.
  • Operating the till, processing cash and card transactions, upselling products and sizes and providing excellent customer service to our customers.
  • General cleaning of the unit, including sweeping/mopping the dining areas, rubbish disposal, general clean down of the unit and ensuring all designated cleaning tasks are complete.
  • Serving prepackaged / made to order food and cakes - ensuring all Health and Safety procedures are followed.
  • Stocking up and rotating stock daily, ensuring the unit stock is faced up throughout the day and dated correctly.
You will be set up for success if you have
  • Resided in the UK for the past 3 years and have a legal right to work in the UK.
  • The ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
  • Previous Barista experience (desirable), however not essential as full training will be given on site.
