Bank Nurse - RMN

Compensation: £16.56 / hour

Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal is looking to recruit a Bank Nurse - RMN to join the team which has 12 different wards and cares for 151 patients. Set within picturesque landscaped gardens in Stockport, Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal offers a range of comprehensive inpatient mental health services for young people and adults. The focus of our service is to help people to live their best life in a safe and supportive environment.

What you’ll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a nurse, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

  • Act as a key worker
  • Observe/respond to patient behaviours on the ward which may include self-harm and acts of aggression
  • Formulate risk assessments and care plans to meet individual needs
  • Medication management
  • Maintain the safety of patients and staff

Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills are essential, as well as being IT literate.
