Meadows House Residential and Nursing Home, 95 Tudway Road, Kidbrooke, London, SE3 9YG

Role: Catering Assistant

£12.70 per hour. Hours as and when required.

Responsibilities
  • Basic food preparation, presenting meals to a high standard and serving meals to residents, in line with relevant food hygiene legislation.
  • Work as part of a team to enrich residents’ lives, support colleagues, and contribute to a positive working environment.
  • Support and training are provided; be caring, enthusiastic, energetic, and flexible; communicate effectively and treat residents with respect and dignity.
  • Adhere to safe food storage and cleaning practices.
  • Be aware of and adhere to processes related to safeguarding, equal opportunity, and inclusive employment practices.
  • Work in partnership with colleagues and use a team-oriented approach to ensure high-quality care delivery.
  • Be prepared for an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check if offered the role; the cost is covered by Sanctuary Care.

We work closely with the Home Office in order to prevent illegal working.
