A healthcare facility in the UK is seeking a fulltime Dietitian to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in paediatrics and diabetes, with a focus on delivering specialist dietary advice. Flexible working is supported, and training will be provided. Due to investment, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Dietitian to join our progressive and friendly team at Musgrove Park Hospital.
Our supportive team is experienced, highly regarded, integral members of the wider multidisciplinary paediatric teams, providing both inpatient and outpatient services.
You will need to be passionate about working with children and their family. This would be an excellent role for a Dietitian who already has some experience in diabetes and/or Paediatrics and who wishes to expand their skills. Alternatively, this could be an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Dietitian, with good transferable skills, who wishes to develop their experience in Paediatrics. Training and support will be provided once you are in post.

As a Paediatric Dietitian you will see patients with diabetes and their families on the ward during any admissions (including new diagnosis, emergencies, planned stabilisation). You will also attend 3 monthly consultant-led MDT clinics across the area, be present at enhanced care MDT clinics, at education sessions and at home/school visits as required.
You would also have a general outpatient paediatric caseload and deliver specialist dietary advice for children with conditions such as faltering growth, food allergies and restrictive diets via face to face clinics across the county, telephone and video consultation.
