What You Will Do

Receive and manage referrals from Hospital Consultants in Trauma & Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, and Pain Management.

Assess and treat patients post‑fracture and post‑operatively, including:

ACL reconstructions

Joint arthroplasty

Foot & ankle surgery

Manage both acute and rehabilitation phases of treatment in an outpatient setting.

Provide MSK treatment for staff members as required.

Work closely with a Band 7 Physiotherapist through weekly supervision and case discussion.

Demonstrate strong clinical reasoning skills and apply appropriate assessment and treatment techniques.

Manage a large and varied caseload independently and efficiently.

Ensure professional, legal and ethical responsibilities of practice are upheld.

Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues and external professionals, even in challenging situations.

Deliver care with sensitivity to cultural differences, beliefs and individual needs.
