Job Title:Pharmacist
Banding:Band 6-7
Location:Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Hours:37.5 hours per week
Start Date:ASAP
Rate:£23 – £27 per hour
Duration:3 months

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Pharmacist with community/outpatient experience to join our esteemed client in Milton Keynes. This role requires working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where your advanced expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the precision and reliability of pharmaceutical care, which is critical for accurate patient treatment and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will accurately dispense medications and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. You will provide expert advice on drug therapy and medication management, manage medication inventories, and ensure the safe storage of pharmaceuticals. Additionally, you will conduct medication reviews and identify potential drug interactions, educate patients on the proper use of medications and potential side effects, collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to the continuous improvement of pharmacy services. You will also maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure the pharmacy operates efficiently and effectively during your shifts.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • GPhC Registration
  • Experience working in a similar post within the NHS
  • Qualified to Master’s Degree (MPharm or equivalent)
  • Community/outpatient experience is essential
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Unwavering attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
