Job Description:
London North West University Healthcare is seeking a skilled Locum Dietitian to join the team at Northwick Park Hospital (NPH) in Harrow. This full-time position is available from the end of September for a duration of 2 months. The role involves managing an acute caseload, which includes medical, surgical, and potentially medical HDU or gastro patients.

What your responsibilities will be for this Dietetics role?

As a Band 6 Locum Dietitian, you will provide expert dietary assessment and intervention for patients within an acute setting, including medical, surgical, and potentially high-dependency units. Your responsibilities will include conducting detailed nutritional assessments, devising and implementing personalised dietary plans, and monitoring patient progress to ensure effective outcomes. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to integrate dietary management into overall patient care plans and ensure that nutritional needs are met. Effective communication with patients and their families is essential to provide education and support regarding dietary modifications. As this role is based at NPH in Harrow, remote work is not an option, and you will be required to work on-site.
