Overview

Go back Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse - Lyndon CMHT. The closing date is 05 October 2025.

We have an available opportunity for a suitably qualified nurse to join Lyndon CMHT based at the Lyndon Resource Centre in South Solihull, working with a well-established, dynamic multidisciplinary team.

We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic, motivated and adaptable individual who can effect positive changes for people experiencing severe and enduring mental health concerns - with excellent assessment and risk management skills - alongside all round Service User centred skills and a genuine desire to work in this area.

You will have experience and confidence in working autonomously in an adult mental health setting and will have skills in engagement, assessment, risk management and care planning.

Main duties

You will have excellent communication and multi-disciplinary/multi-agency team working skills underpinned by a sound knowledge of principles of Recovery, CPA and Mental Health Act legislation. Training will be provided for Dialogue Plus.

You will need effective time management skills and an ability to prioritise workload. You will be joining supportive and welcoming teams, with access to regular supervision and opportunities for personal and professional development.
