Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and be responsible for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. The post holder will work in partnership with the Ward / Department Sister to ensure that nursing standards are met at all times, including assisting the ward / department team to meet agreed standards of hospital cleanliness. You will play a crucial part in high-quality patient care by assessing care needs, developing, implementing and evaluating care programmes, and performing relevant forms of nursing care competently without direct supervision.

In this role you will participate in teaching, supervision and preceptorship/mentorship of learners and other staff. In the absence of a more senior nurse, you will take charge of the ward. Whether you are an experienced Band 5 Nurse or a motivated newly qualified nurse, we invite you to apply for this rewarding opportunity. You will be an NMC registered Nurse with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team. You should have strong communication and organisational skills and a flexible approach to deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey.
