Job Title: Histology Biomedical Scientist
Banding: Band 4
Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Working Pattern: Full-time
Hourly Rate: £13–£15 per hour

We are currently seeking a Band 4 Histology Biomedical Scientist to join our client’s team in Manchester. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a great opportunity to gain experience in a supportive laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will assist in the preparation and processing of histological specimens, ensuring accuracy and adherence to laboratory protocols. You will support the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services, maintain detailed records, and work collaboratively with the wider laboratory and clinical teams.

Qualifications and Experience

  • HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council)
  • Experience in histology (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • NHS experience (advantageous)
