Backend Engineer Role

As a backend engineer your primary responsibility will be to develop software using Go. You will be building microservices, deploying them to the cloud and owning them in production. You will join a cross-functional Agile team alongside frontend developers, QAs and product owners.

• Refine user stories, create database schemas and APIs, perform code reviews, write documentation, monitor services, implement automated tests and demo your work to clients and stakeholders.
• There are also opportunities for "full stack" development, so if you have some knowledge of React or Flutter you can also contribute to web and mobile apps.
• Upskilling, spreading knowledge and learning within the team is encouraged.

Requirements

• Go (either 3+ years experience, or 1-2 years if backed up by comprehensive industry experience with other systems programming languages).
