Job description

Job Title: B1 Licensed Engineer – A320 NEO (Leap-1A Borescope Certified) Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (3 Years)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled B1 Licensed Engineer to join our team on a 3-year fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be fully type-rated on the Airbus A320 NEO and certified to perform borescope inspections on the CFM Leap-1A engine. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong commitment to safety, quality, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled line and base maintenance on A320 NEO aircraft in accordance with regulatory and company procedures.
  • Conduct borescope inspections on Leap-1A engines, including troubleshooting and defect rectification.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation and technical reports to meet regulatory compliance standards.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements (EASA/CAA/FAA as applicable).
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency and reliability.
  • Liaise with maintenance planners, operations, and other engineering staff to ensure aircraft serviceability.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • EASA Part-66 B1 Licensed Engineer (or equivalent).
  • Type-rated on Airbus A320 NEO.
  • Certified for borescope inspections on CFM Leap-1A engines.
  • Proven experience in line and/or base maintenance on A320 family aircraft.
  • Strong understanding of aviation safety, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
Desirable (Not Essential)
  • NDT Level 2 certification in any of the following methods: Eddy Current, Ultrasound, or Visual.
  • Additional type ratings or engine approvals.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced MRO or airline environment.
