A progressive employer in social services is seeking a dedicated individual to develop and deliver programmes addressing child sexual exploitation. The role demands extensive experience working with vulnerable youth, strong collaboration with various agencies, and a qualification in Youth Work. The Child Sexual Exploitation and Missing From Home Service works with young people who are experiencing or at risk of child sexual exploitation (CSE).
CSE is recognised in the UK as a form of child sexual abuse where an imbalance of power is used to coerce, manipulate or deceive a child or young person.
Develop and deliver a range of group programmes, workshops and training packages for young people, professionals, parents and carers.
You will need direct specialist knowledge of risk factors that lead to exploitation and how to address them, the ability to engage with vulnerable young people one-to-one within a case management model, and the ability to work in an integrated way with key stakeholders involved in the CSE and CCE agenda. Salary: £25,585
Access to a car, and a full driving licence, is a requirement of this role.
