Qualifications

  • Attend customer sites for technical support.
  • Document issues and present findings to Senior Engineers.
  • Comply with Health & Safety protocols.

Alexander James Recruiting are currently working with a leading manufacturer and integrator of Warehouse Automation products looking to bring on a Junior Automation Installation Engineer to work on their Warehouse Integration projects for clients across the UK. With a competitive base salary and overall package, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in Automation Installation within the Warehouse Automation industry.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting Senior Engineers with the installation of automated warehouse systems and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Participating in software testing and validation exercises
  • Learning the processes of, and assisting with, mechanical and electrical diagnostics and repair
  • Attending customer sites and assisting with technical support and guidance
  • Documenting issues and resolutions to present findings to Senior Engineers
  • Complying with both company and client Health & Safety protocols at all times
Requirements

Our client is ideally looking for an individual with previous experience in the installation of Automated Systems within a warehouse setting. This isn’t essential however, they are also open to candidates who have an understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems that are keen to learn and develop their career.

In terms of location, you will ideally be based in the Midlands. They would also prefer that a successful candidate hold a full UK driver’s license as there will be an expectation to travel to customer sites around the country, however this is not essential.
