What you'll do:

As an Audit Partner based in London, you will play an integral role in leading the audit service line within a highly respected accountancy firm.

  • Oversee all aspects of client engagement by allocating work effectively within teams and ensuring consistently high standards of client service are maintained at every stage.
  • Provide trusted advice to owner managers on both business and personal matters, acting as a key adviser who helps clients navigate challenges and unlock new opportunities.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new service offerings for existing clients as well as developing relationships with new prospects across various sectors.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to maximise cross-selling opportunities and suggest innovative ideas for increased marketing initiatives.
  • Manage the end-to-end audit process for a large portfolio of clients, including setting budgets, monitoring timescales, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards such as IFRS/UKGAAP.
  • Act as Responsible Individual (RI) where appropriate, demonstrating sound commercial judgement and broad business thinking in all decision-making processes.
  • Lead by example in fostering a collaborative culture within the team while supporting junior staff through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • Analyse complex business situations to identify key issues and priorities that add value for clients and contribute to their long-term success.
  • Maintain full awareness of internal contacts and services offered by other departments to ensure seamless delivery of integrated solutions for clients.
What you bring:

To excel as an Audit Partner in this prestigious firm, you will bring extensive experience gained within accountancy or professional services settings with responsibility for managing substantial client portfolios.
  • Ideally hold Responsible Individual (RI) status or demonstrate eligibility for this designation within the audit profession.
  • Possess ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent qualification along with significant senior-level experience managing large portfolios within accountancy or professional services environments.
  • Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of IFRS/UKGAAP standards as well as up-to-date understanding of regulatory requirements affecting audit practices.
  • Showcase proven ability to analyse complex business situations quickly in order to identify key issues that impact client outcomes positively.
  • Exhibit outstanding interpersonal skills with a focus on building trust-based relationships both internally among colleagues and externally with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Display confidence in communication when advising owner managers on sensitive business or personal matters while remaining approachable at all times.
  • Bring experience in driving revenue growth through identification of new service lines or expansion into untapped markets within the SME sector.
  • Evidence strong organisational skills required for managing end-to-end audit processes including budget setting, resource allocation, and deadline management.
