A leading banking institution is seeking an experienced internal auditor to manage risk-based audits and provide independent assurance over key business risks. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of internal audit methodologies and a good understanding of UK regulations. The Vacancy
We are flexible on location, this role can be based at any of our office locations (London, Manchester, Reading, or Cardiff). We operate a hybrid model with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

Led by the Chief Internal Auditor, GIA helps the Group achieve its objectives by executing a disciplined risk-based approach to evaluate the effectiveness of the Group's risk management, control and governance processes. As an independent function we make impartial, professional judgements based on the evidence we see and the information we are provided with. This allows us to help the business develop constructive recommendations to support the strengthening of the risk management, controls, and processes across the Group.
The role involves leading risk-based audits from planning through to reporting, ensuring high-quality delivery and effective stakeholder engagement. You will manage end-to-end audit execution, provide independent assurance over the management of key business risks, and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders to support continuous improvement in governance, risk management, and control.
