Salary: £47,294 - £49,783 (Nottingham) or £52,104 - £54,846

Location: Waterfront House, Beeston or The Johnson Building, Farringdon

FTC – Maternity Cover (12 Months)

This role

As Assurance & Audit Lead, you will play a pivotal role within the Compliance and Technical Services department. Your primary responsibility is to ensure MTVH meets its legal obligations and maintains the highest standards of safety and compliance across our property portfolio. You will achieve this through a robust program of internal audits, continuous review of processes and procedures, and by driving a culture of continuous improvement.

You will support the Head of Compliance in delivering assurance and governance, ensuring operational teams and consultants adhere to MTVH policy and regulatory requirements. Your work will directly contribute to the safety of our residents and the integrity of our compliance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver a rigorous internal audit program for the Compliance and Technical Services department, ensuring all activities have adequate internal controls and safeguards.
  • Act as an internal expert, providing guidance on regulatory, industry, and client requirements.
  • Review and enhance systems of checks and balances within the compliance function, ensuring documentation is processed, checked, and stored accurately.
  • Produce audit reports and learning outcomes to drive continuous improvement and share best practices across the organisation.
  • Ensure contractors and consultants maintain robust quality assurance processes.
  • Professionally represent MTVH during audits and external reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and data integrity.
  • Support the Head of Compliance in developing and implementing assurance strategies and governance frameworks.
