Overview

We are delighted to announce the opportunity to invite applicants to the post of Associate Director of Nursing within the Division of Surgery.

The successful candidate will be an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated senior nurse who is passionate about ensuring that the highest standard of care is provided to every patient, every time. The role requires experience in a wide variety of clinical settings and recent management experience.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the senior manager on call rota.
  • Assist and support the Divisional Director of Nursing in the smooth running of the specialty within the clinical division, ensuring the delivery of divisional goals and KPIs with a particular focus on excellent, sustainable care delivery.
  • Work closely with the Divisional Director of Nursing to support the delivery of professional standards pertaining to the clinical services.
  • Support the Divisional Director of Nursing in the delivery of staff and budgetary management, ensuring that performance targets and strategic objectives are met, including supporting the management of capacity and demand in order to achieve national and local standards.
