As an Assistant Producer you will be at the forefront of content creation in a fast-paced sports news environment. You will be part of a Global team covering the biggest stories across the sporting world. Armed with the richest sports data in the world, first‑rate newsgathering and an exciting rights portfolio, you will create engaging video content for a range of digital, broadcast, and social clients. You will be scripting, producing, editing and delivering your work to a broadcast standard.

Responsibilities
  • Content creation as part of a team that delivers broadcast‑ready stories for digital and social clients.
  • Content creation as part of a team that produces data‑enhanced video content.
  • Content creation as part of a team that creates wire/raw footage for broadcast and traditional clients.
  • Liaise with our various newsdesk, international and support teams to ensure a smooth workflow of content.
Qualifications
  • First‑rate knowledge of a range of sports (football, US sport essential).
  • Experience of key editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Wildmoka) to a broadcast standard.
  • A flair for producing engaging content for digital, social and broadcast consumers.
  • Balanced and objective judgement of editorial decisions based on thorough understanding of guidelines.
  • Ability to work with data and tell stories using stats and insights.
  • Willingness to work 'shift based' role, featuring weekend and night work.
  • Ability to work well to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment.
  • Understanding of the current market demands with a focus on social media and viral content.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Broadcast journalism qualification or relevant experience.
  • Working proficiency in using After Effects would be a major bonus.
