Overview

Annual salary: up to £38,850.00. Assistant Site Manager – Brighton. Full time – Fixed Contract 2 Years. Salary up to £38,850 per annum, plus, company van or car allowance. 42.5 hours per week Monday – Friday.

About the Role

As an Assistant Site Manager you will be working on our planned programme within the social housing background, providing a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community you will be supporting high standard Site Management activities for Planned Works Programmes to Housing properties, delivering best in class customer service, and satisfying all safety, quality, and cost control standards.

  • Assist on management of the day-to-day operational delivery of planned work/s contract and all associated staff and ensuring contractual KPI’s targets are achieved and maintained
  • Checking the quality of work inline with building regulations and standards
  • Overseeing internal and external works to include wall cavity insulation, new windows, doors, storage heaters and roofing to include scaffolding within tower blocks and working at heights
  • Support the management and monitoring of work programme progression and completion via ongoing site visits to ensure works are adequately resourced, being effectively delivered to set quality standard and completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure regular communication with line manager on site progress, advising of issues which may impact / change the contract programme and record as per company standard operating procedure.
  • Assist on management of sub-contractors, ensuring compliance and adherence to H&S regulations, Mears standard operating procedures & values, quality assurance accreditations, CDM and the company’s commitment to best practice with legislation, codes of & good working practices relevant to all work activities.
