Assistant Quantity Surveyor

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Planned Maintenance team within the Social Housing sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual who is keen to develop their career in Quantity Surveying, with support towards university or further education for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the commercial team with CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations) and cash flow forecasting.

  • Support in the preparation and administration of subcontractor accounts, payments, and final accounts.

  • Maintain accurate records of costs and project variations.

  • Assist with procurement of subcontractors and materials.

  • Provide commercial administration support across multiple planned maintenance projects.

  • Ensure compliance with company and client procedures at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a commercial administration role within construction or maintenance.

  • Understanding of CVRs and cash flow processes.

  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Full UK driving license - essential due to the nature of the role.

  • Ability to work full-time in the office (5 days per week).

Desirable

  • Previous experience within social housing / planned maintenance sector.

  • Ambition to progress within Quantity Surveying - education support available for the right candidate.
