Overview

Belmont Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Assistant Human Resources & Organisational Development Advisor to join the Business Transformation Directorate at Bromsgrove and Redditch Council. This is a temporary contract working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Provide HR advice to managers and employees across the organisation.
  • Act as the focal point for recruitment and selection, ensuring compliance with policy, good practice, and legislation.
  • Support and participate in recruitment campaigns and represent the Council at careers events.
  • Provide advice on employee relations matters including disciplinary and grievance cases, up to dismissal.
  • Monitor and review HR policies, ensuring compliance with legislation and recommending improvements.
  • Conduct exit interviews and redeployment interviews as required.
  • Liaise with Occupational Health, Trade Unions, and other stakeholders to resolve HR issues.
  • Assist with the design and delivery of in-house training courses and development programmes.
  • Contribute to HR projects, research, policy drafting, and implementation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times.
Location

The Town Hall, Redditch, B98 8AH (2x days on site and 3x days working from home).
