Staff wellbeing is central to our approach; we nurture and support our team so they can shine alongside our children.

We are seeking a passionate, forward-thinking teacher to lead a small Year 5 class (up to 15 pupils) while taking on the role of Assistant Head and SENDCo. Full training will be provided for the SENDCo responsibilities if required. The role will also include subject leadership responsibilities, with dedicated non-contact time provided to support these duties.

What We Offer
  • Small class sizes that allow for personalised learning and strong relationships.
  • Investment in your professional development, including leadership opportunities and full SENDCo training (if needed).
  • Dedicated non-contact time for SENDCo, PPA and subject leadership responsibilities.
  • A supportive, wellbeing-focused working environment.
  • A forward-thinking, innovative culture with Church of England values at the centre.
  • A collaborative team where everyone can let their light shine.
The Role

  • Lead the school’s SEND provision, including IPMs, assessments, and liaison with families and external agencies.
  • Take on subject leadership responsibilities, using dedicated time to drive improvements.
  • Support school leadership with improvement initiatives, curriculum planning, and policy development.
  • Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing, and inclusion.
  • Model and embed the school’s Christian ethos in all aspects of school life.

  • Is committed to leading with integrity, promoting our Christian ethos, and inspiring pupils and staff alike.
  • Is ready to take on leadership responsibilities and contribute to our ambitious school vision.
