Job description
About the role: You'll join our busy branding division in Hamilton to support pricing and proposal development for branding and rebrand works across UK wide Petrol Filling Station (PFS) sites. This is a great opportunity to develop your commercial and technical knowledge in a fast-paced, client-facing role combining construction, signage, retail, and reactive works.

What you'll do: Assist with the preparation of accurate quotes and estimations for minor civils, reactive works and branding packages where you will work closely with internal teams and supply partners to ensure all elements are priced, scoped, and presented professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation of accurate cost estimates associated with branding and rebranding PFS sites.
  • Review site surveys, technical drawings, and photographic reports to ensure work is captured and correctly priced.
  • Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations, checking for completeness, lead times, and compliance with specifications.
  • Manage internal templates, trackers, and supplier cost databases to maintain consistency and version control
  • Assist in the collation and submission of formal tender packages, gathering relevant drawings, specifications, and pricing inputs.
  • Help compile professional and accurate quote documents for submission to clients
  • Support responses to client queries and clarifications during the pre-construction or quoting phase.
  • Assist in the comparison review of completed projects (actual vs. estimated costs), to support improvements and accuracy in future pricing.

About you: You'll already have some practical experience working with project data and estimations, confident using Excel and Office to handle numbers, costs, and reports. A driving license will give you the flexibility to attend site visits when required, and your strong communication skills mean you're just as comfortable presenting information as you are working behind the scenes on the details while working to tight deadlines. We believe the following skills and attributes will set you up for success:

  • HNC/HND or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, or similar
  • Strong knowledge (or a genuine interest) in signage and branding
  • Some background in projects and working with project data
  • Numeracy skills, with an understanding of profits and margins
  • Accomplished IT skills, in particular Excel ( Publisher and Smart Sheets is a big plus!)
  • Used to critical thinking when analysing information to make clear and reasoned judgments
  • Polished communication skills - you'll be working with key clients and a variety of stakeholders!

Why choose TSG UK? In addition to salary, benefits and company discounts, you'll receive:

  • Regular exposure to national PFS branding programmes with major clients (BP, Shell, Esso, MFG etc.).
  • Full training, tailored around your own experience and requirements.
  • Mentorship, as well as being part of a highly supportive team with excellent technical experience.
  • Valuable experience in a fast-paced, rewarding work environment with a focus on quality, reliability, and client satisfaction.
  • Career progression: TSG UK is a highly progressive company offering a broad range of services and opportunities to match your career goals.
