Permanent Full Time Vacancy: Assistant Engagement Officer

Location: YMCA Trinity - Ipswich. The role will be working with young people on our Ipswich Sites.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Accommodation team, where you’ll help deliver engagement and intervention programmes tailored to the needs of young people. Working closely with Project Workers, you’ll plan activities and provide one-to-one support that encourages personal growth and independence.

Skills and Experience

In summary, the successful applicant will have the following qualities:

  • High standard of communication, people and organisational skills
  • Proven ability to use IT software including Microsoft Office and online databases
  • Ability to work within a reactive environment and stay calm when under pressure
  • Able to work evenings and weekends, including public holidays on a rota basis.

Days and hours

This role is full time, 40 hours per week.

Salary and Benefits
  • Annual salary £25,396.80 (£12.21 per hour)
  • 5 weeks holiday & public holiday allowance, plus a paid day off for your birthday (Pro rata)

  • Your DBS Check Facilitated / Cost Paid as part of your onboarding
