A health and social care organisation is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Administrator to support the Adult Locality Teams in Cambridge. The role involves greeting patients, managing queries, and providing comprehensive administrative services to ensure effective operations. Candidates must possess strong organisational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to deal with various tasks under pressure. We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Administrator for our Admin Hub, to support the Cambridge Adult Locality Teams based at Union House, Cambridge. This role would be supporting the front of house, greeting patients, dealing with queries and supporting the wider team.
The successful candidate will be well organised and able to prioritise work. You will be proactive in solving problems and queries and you will see these through to completion. The post holder will need to be calm and patient, with an excellent telephone manner and skills to deal with sometimes complex and difficult issues over the phone. You will be required to provide front of house reception cover for the team.
The ideal candidate will have a can‑do attitude, a strong team‑work ethic, a sense of accountability and the ability to work under considerable pressure at times. This post is open to professionals with those attributes to enhance a team.
