Overview

We have a fabulous opportunity for our client, Reebok Europe, and are seeking a driven Assistant Accountant to support the Finance team across UK and Dutch operations. This hands-on role covers daily accounting, reconciliations, and reporting, offering excellent international exposure and a clear pathway towards qualification and career progression.

Main Responsibilities

• Support month-end close, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with preparation of management accounts and reporting packs.
• Process employee expenses and manage AP/AR across UK and Dutch entities.
• Maintain fixed asset register and support VAT preparation.
• Provide financial analysis, assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audits.
• Contribute to process improvements and ad hoc projects as required.

Person Specification

• AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA (study support available).
• Experience in accounting (AP/AR or general ledger).
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups) and ERP experience (Sage200 desirable).
• Detail-oriented, organised, proactive, and ambitious.
• Confident communicator with the ability to work across functions.
• Experience with multi-currency accounting is advantageous.
