Job description

We are recruiting for an Asset/Building Maintenance Manager to join our client based in Newark. This is a full time permanent role with a salary of £33k-£34k DOE. Due to the nature of this role, a full clean UK Driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

The purpose of this role will be to coordinate the maintenance and operational management of the businesses Assets. You will be responsible to make sure that all operations are undertaken and all assets are managed and completed safely in line with Health & Safety policies and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating with external contractors to carry out works, seeking quotes for repairs and scheduling works as required.
  • Responding to emergency repairs and maintenance issues across multiple sites.
  • Liaising with the Health & Safety team to ensure policies and procedures are followed and adhered to at all times.
  • Supporting other internal teams with asset development and enhancement projects.
  • Ensuring all Vehicles and machinery are adequately maintained and serviced.

This role will suit someone with experience in facilities management, asset management or building maintenance. You will be confident communicating with the public, contractors and internal teams and be able to work independently while managing varied priorities. The ideal candidate will also have qualifications in either construction, building maintenance or land management along with having excellent IT skills including the use of all MS Office applications.
