Job description

Our client is a well-regarded asbestos consultancy who offer a varied range of professional asbestos and environmental services to clients across the country. They are currently recruiting for a hardworking and high-calibre Asbestos Surveyor based in and around the Swindon area. The successful candidate will hold the P402 asbestos certificate and will possess specialised asbestos knowledge and previous experience carrying out surveys on a range of site types. Consideration will be given to applications from Trowbridge, Oxford, Stroud, Reading and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience

• The applicant must have attained the P402 asbestos certificate or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
• Will have extensive practical experience working as an asbestos surveyor and within the asbestos industry.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and client-facing skills.
• Will be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
• Well versed with the Health & Safety procedures and regulations pertaining to asbestos.

Tasks Will Include

• Carrying out Asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties, including commercial and industrial.
• Collating and producing accurate asbestos reports as and when required.
• Liaising with clients from all levels on a regular basis, including high profile clients and dealing with issues appropriately and effectively.
