• Existing experience working as an Asbestos Bulk / Lab Analyst within a UKAS accredited laboratory.
• Able to work in accordance with HSG and UKAS guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Completing analysis on ACM samples using PLM and stereo microscopy methods.
• Safely storing and logging samples.
• Confirming presence and type of asbestos present in samples.
• Updating internal records with results.
• Issuing certificates directly to clients.
• Working to agreed deadlines and targets.
• Overseeing the maintenance of lab equipment.
• Participating in quality assurance checks.

Overview

Job Title: Asbestos Bulk Analyst. Location: Dartford, Kent. Salary/Benefits: £25k - £33k + Training & Benefits. We are recruiting on behalf of a UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy that requires a P401 qualified Asbestos Bulk Analyst to join their team. Applicants must have a successful track record of analysing bulk asbestos samples and meeting deadlines. The role offers opportunities for further training and development.
