Senior AI Engineer – AI Startup

We are a venture‑backed AI startup with deep roots in medicine and AI research, founded by a former Meta Brain team engineer and a medical specialist. We have already launched agentic AI products into live clinics and are now scaling up to production. Our team includes a CTO, an AI Engineer, and a Junior Engineer, with strong support from top‑tier VCs and angels. We are looking for two Senior AI Engineers to build secure, scalable, compliant AI systems that integrate with clinical workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and deploying production systems in startups or fast‑paced environments
• Strong Python coding experience
• Experience with Azure or GCP
• Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices and event‑driven architectures
• Solid system design and security principles
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical decisions clearly
• Ability to work independently and manage uncertainty in an early‑stage environment
• Strong infrastructure and deployment expertise
• Ability to separate noise from signal and evaluate information quickly
• Focus on business value rather than building tech for the sake of it

Bonus Points

• AI or ML production experience including MLOps and model deployment
