Role Overview

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Masonry Support Systems involves selling a high quality range of masonry support systems, including wall ties, wind posts, lintels, cavity tray, brick soffit systems, to tier 1 contractors, sub-contractors, brickwork contractors, architects and engineers. The candidate is expected to generate new business and work towards a turnover target of circa £1m-£2m depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Sell a high quality range of masonry support systems (e.g., wall ties, wind posts, lintels, cavity tray, brick soffit systems).
  • Spend the majority of time generating new business and selling to tier 1 contractors, sub-contractors, brickwork contractors, architects & engineers.
  • Aim for a turnover target of circa £1m-£2m depending on experience.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
  • Must have sold a structural building product such as insulation, cladding, facades, concrete, fixings, support systems, masonry, lintels, wall ties, wind posts, tension bars, steel beams, concrete reinforcement, metal decking, rainscreen cladding, anchors, etc.
  • Must have sold to structural engineers, architects, brickwork contractors and main contractors.
  • Black book of contacts within the industry.
  • Must be able to generate new business; personably, a team player, driven and enthusiastic.
