Overview

Area Sales Manager Midlands Region for a well-established manufacturer and supplier known for quality and reliability in the construction, industrial, and commercial sectors. Covering the Midlands region, you’ll be selling market-leading commodity products that are critical to countless projects across diverse industries. You’ll manage a mix of loyal existing customers while driving new business to help expand the brand’s strong regional presence.

Location: Midlands (Field, Office & Remote Mix). Salary: £30,000–£40,000 Basic | Up to £10,000 Bonus | Car or Car Allowance | Benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow relationships with established customers across the Midlands.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in the construction, industrial, and commercial sectors.
  • Split your time between field visits, office work, and remote activity for flexibility and effectiveness.
  • Develop and present tailored proposals to clients, negotiating to close profitable deals.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and provide regular sales reports and market feedback.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service.
About You
  • Experience in a field-based B2B sales role, ideally with exposure to construction, industrial, or commercial products.
  • Comfortable managing both existing accounts and proactively pursuing new business.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and excellent commercial awareness.
  • Organised and driven, able to manage your own diary and meet targets.
  • Confident communicator and negotiator who can build trust and deliver solutions.
  • Full UK driving licence.
