Successful applicants would be working on a range of projects including a University Business School, Library and Molecular Sciences Laboratory, a Secondary School, a number of Primary Schools, a new build Commercial Office and an office retro-fit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of complex Commercial & Education projects across all RIBA stages
  • Oversee & contribute to concept development, planning submissions, and technical delivery
  • Prepare technical drawings, presentations, and reports for clients and regulatory bodies
  • Provide strong design leadership, ensuring project quality, innovation, and compliance
  • Conduct site inspections and manage coordination during construction
  • Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project progression
  • Help coordinate project timelines and maintain project documentation
  • Attend project meetings and present design solutions to clients
  • Assist with project specifications, schedules, and cost estimates
  • Mentor and support junior team members, promoting a collaborative and high-performing studio culture
Skills & Experience
  • ARB-registered Architect
  • Significant post-qualification experience within a UK architectural practice
  • Strong track record of leading and running projects independently
  • Strong design and technical drawing skills
  • Proven expertise across all RIBA stages, from concept design to on-site delivery
  • Proficiency in Revit is essential
  • Knowledge of UK planning, building regulations, and contract administration
  • Previous experience in Workplace & Education sectors is highly beneficial
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Interest in sustainable design and environmental practices
  • Must be based within a commutable distance of the studio you are applying for
