Position: Apprentice/Trainee Greenkeeper

Responsibilities

• All greenkeeping tasks
• Working within the clubs environmental policy
• Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment including sheds, surrounds, machinery and equipment
• Working within Health & safety guidelines
• Reporting dangerous situations
• Drive all terrain vehicles
• To be courteous to our members and answer any questions they may have while on the course
• To identify and notify senior members of staff about any disease or damage

Qualifications

• Previous experience or a desire to become a qualified greenkeeper
• Willing to complete the level 2 Greenkeeping qualification after learning the trade
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must work in a way that abides by all health and safety legislation
• Be able to follow instruction and work well both independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work shifts including early mornings and weekends and holidays where needed
