The ideal candidate should possess a strong interest in Life Sciences and demonstrate high attention to detail. Responsibilities include preparing microbiology samples and managing laboratory cleanliness. Applications are encouraged from candidates with a willingness to study for qualifications. This role reports to the Microbiology and Stability Manager, and will provide support for the following key areas: Environmental monitoring within the production cleanrooms, media management, growth promotion of media and sample management within the laboratory areas including receipt and disposal. The ideal candidate will therefore have a scientific background, excellent organisation and attention to detail.
Flexible and able to work extended hours when required.
Must be competent in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, e-mail and internet;
Must have excellent communication skills particularly, written English and interpretation and Maths.
