Overview

CDM are currently recruiting for Application Technicians for a client based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Responsibilities

• Final testing of systems once they are built.
• Test all fibre optic systems, electrical lines, hydraulic and pneumatic lines.
• Perform continuity testing to ensure those systems work throughout the product.
• Carry out hydrostatic high-pressure testing.

Training and Environment

Up to 2 years worth of training will be provided with all the various forms of testing. You will be working in a heavy engineering environment that is clean, modern, quiet and slow paced. You will also have a lot of autonomy to work within a small team as the client does not believe in micromanagement.

Contract and Progression

This position is a long-term agency role, expected to last for at least 4 years of consistent work. Permanent roles may be offered in the future, but this is not guaranteed.

Salary and Shift Information

• Basic salary £(phone number removed) (inclusive of shift allowance) / £21.16 per hour (ph).
• Shift pattern: Continental shifts with no weekend work.
• Day shift: 06:45 – 18:45; Night shift: 18:45 – 06:45.
