Application Support Team Lead - Glasgow or Edinburgh Hybrid - 38K + 10% Bonus

Hybrid - 2 days per week in office in either Central Edinburgh or Central Glasgow

Are you ready to take the next step in your application support career? We're looking for an skilled Application Support Engineer to lead a growing team supporting a leading data management offering used by some of the world's largest financial bodies, as well as innovative FinTech start-ups and more.

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll supervise and perform triage and response for incident management, resolve incidents hands-on as needed, ensure SLAs are met, handle escalations, coach and monitor team performance, drive continuous improvement of procedures, and carry out proactive maintenance tasks during quieter periods.

Tech Stack You'll Work With:

  • MS-SQL (ideally Azure SQL Database)
  • Scripting with PowerShell/Bash would be a plus

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous track record of line management
  • Background in L1/L2 Application Support, ideally in a 24x7 environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
