A technology support firm in the UK is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer for a 3-month fixed term contract. The role involves managing application and system issues, monitoring systems, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure optimal performance. While most work is remote, there will be monthly travel to Leeds for meetings. This profitable and growing organisation requires an experienced Application Support Engineer, to join an established support team that has responsibility for managing application and system issues, monitoring systems, implementing upgrades/changes, and improving processes.
As an Application Support Engineer, you will take charge of supported systems, ensuring their optimal performance whilst supporting and training staff to ensure best practices are followed.
Whilst most of the work will be done from home, there will be the expectation to travel to Leeds once per month for company meetings. Candidates who live more than 30 miles away can expense this travel.
This role will initially be for a 3-Month Fixed Term Contract. Candidates wanting to discuss daily rate options can also be considered.
Package : 35-hour work week
Up to 20% bonus
