A leading reinsurance company is seeking a Technical Specialist to develop Azure applications and reporting solutions. You will work on optimizing application performance and collaborating with global teams. We are a small team, part of Group Digital & Technology (GDTO) serving the Asset Management domain within Swiss Re. The team is located in Bratislava, collaborating with business and IT teams in numerous locations worldwide including New York, London and Zurich. The application is a key part of the Asset Management landscape linking trading, valuation and finance platforms and is therefore fundamental to the timely completion of the overnight batch process that facilitates daily financial and regulatory reporting.
Your passion is engineering and fully recognize the benefits of ETL processes that ensure data is accurate, reliable, and accessible. You thrive when working in a strong engineering culture and have a passion for multi‑cultural teamwork and help others in your team to achieve their full potential. You strive to share team expertise and help us increase our Agile maturity. We understand the value of AI in development, but you can work with classes, functions and API calls without ChatGPT. You are willing to upskill in Palantir's Foundry platform (including low code, no code configuration).
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 2,700] and [EUR 4,500] per month (for a full‑time role). The specific salary offered considers:
